LEAD TO COPPER water pipe connection

hi is there a reliable fitting to connect the lead pipe entering 1929 house to new copper piping inside the house would remove bit its an ex council row of terraced houses and I cant see them changing anytime soon,,,

lead lock fitting,but you should have lead main removed if possible.ex council if you own it it is your responsibility from the boards stop cock to the house.

a leadlock but it needs to be the correct size for the fitting

As with previous answer, lead should ideally be removed. But yes leadlock fitting is the way to do this

Leadlock above ground only. Philmac Fittings although more expensive are far superior.

Use a universal Philmac adaptor, it has metal teeth and rubber seals inside it, which bites into the lead pipe to make watertight, measure the diameter of both pipes, they vary from 15mm-21mm and 19mm-28mm and these adaptors will tighten up onto any pipe, any good plumbers merchant should have one in stock, however, agreeing with previous responses, if you can replace the lead pipe back to the stoptap would definitely be more preferable....hope this helps
