A Single Joint Expert and a poorly installed kitchen - what should I do?
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 2.50 PM
I am a tenant. My landlord agreed to employ a Single Joint Expert to refit a faulty installation. Due to my landlord being the paying client they have had a "sway" of the outcome and there defects throughout and work has not been carried out as per the report. And I have a damaged floor to boot. Would anyone have any advice on which way to proceed?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Single Joint Expert!? Never heard of one. Sounds like your landlord may be fobbing you off with cheap tradesmen who are not up to scratch. I would agree with Jim Murray and tell your land lord that you are not happy with their work and that you would like it rectified before paying full rent again. I'm sure you are within your rights to demand this.
