Are carpenters able to do woodflooring and replace skirting boards? If so I would like to kill 2 birds with one stone. Richard

Hi Richard, these jobs considered to be pretty easy, any decent carpenter should be able to do both.
All the best.

Hi Richards, I would consider these associated tasks certainly if you are considering new wooden flooring. The skirt would need removing before the flooring laid, this way the outer edge of the floor expansion gap can be partially / completely hidden by the thickness of the skirting when replaced. You can add beading to the skirt if you don't remove to lay the floor however, this would be personal opinion of final finish. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask for any further clarifications.

Flooring and skirting should be basic tasks for any carpenter/hanyman.
