What kind of pressure should we expect with a mixer-shower running of a combi boiler?
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 2.51 PM
We're replacing our old potterton boiler with a combi, and having a loft conversion. The main concern for us is the pressure that we'd expect to have in the loft shower (2 floors above the boiler) using a thermostatic mixer shower. Mains water pressure is 35l/min or so and the boiler we're looking at quotes 17l/min for hot water.

It will all depend on your incoming pressure....but it should provide adaquate pressure.....but be aware if you have anything else using water at the time the pressure will drop....
