Warranty? Status of boiler?

If a boiler was fitted by a person not registered with the manufacturer but definitely registered with Gas Safe, does the warranty still apply? Appreciate any feedback. Thanks Rootosh

If he was gas safe and boiler conforms to manufacture instructions yes warranty is good however if installer is registered with manufacture additional warranty can be added

Yes the warranty is still valid providing it was installed by a qualified engineer and to the manufacturers guidelines.

A gas appliance can only be worked on by a gas safe engineer, However although you are gas safe, you are under obligation to follow the manufacturers instructions which surpass gas safe rules, Gas appliances must be fitted as per manufacturers instructions
