Ask a questionBathroom Fitting
Curved bath panel
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.28 PM
I have a spacesaver bath that curves in at both ends about 20mm. I need a new side panel . It is a standard 1700x510 dimensions but i am struggling to find anything that curves in at both ends. Question is with how flimsy some are would i be able to fit a straight panel to fit the shape in it's place.

Hi There,
You can buy a 4mm plywood bath panel already laminate white finish from Travis Perkins which is flexible, needs extra strength behind for support

Graham’s are you best bet. You won’t have to but 8ft x 4ft sheet, just ask for white faced hardboard bath panel. It will need cutting to size with support behind & you can get one for under £10.

I can’t see why you can’t fit a straight panel but I always make my own panels as I don’t like fitting the flimsy standard items

It would be recommended to install a compatible bath panel.
We suggest that you research your bath and compatible panels that will fit it.
There are several companies out there that provide good quality curved bath panels.
