Removal of Gas Fireplace (inc surrounding marble)
Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.53 PM
Hi, I would like a gas fire place to be capped and removed then replastered. Please see images on this thread as it is very similar to what I currently have and aim to achieve: https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/removing-a-gas-fireplace.18774581/ Would this job require different specialists?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Gas engineer to remove the fire and make it safe.
Plasterer rather then a brick layer that will patch the chimney with blocks, install the vent and plaster the chimney breast
And a carpenter or handyman to install the bit of skirting board.
Good luck
