Improving the insulation of a crosswall constructed property
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.26 PM
I own a semi-detached property which is of crosswall construction. The front and rear walls of the property as I understand it are timber stud and clad with PVC and tiles. Apart from upgrading/changing the windows, is there anything that can be done to improve the insulation of the front, rear or gable walls of this type of property? If so, what would be the potential options? Thanks

Easiest solution would be to insulate externally and re-clad. Other wise you could always stud partition internal walls, insulate and re plaster. You would lose floor space this way.
