Never heard of them.... Could be a new product but, not one that I have come across in the last 20 years. Some worktops come with a corrugated protective packaging but Ive never seen corrugated worktops. Quite a few worktops are manufactured with a different substrate but have very similar outer surfaces eg, the stone-resin (Quartz - Acrylic) type of worktop: Corian, Askilan, Earth stone, Staron etc. Some are cheaper than others. Some offer different options for grooves and edge types and some have a thicker work surface than others. In my experience the average home owner wouldnt be able to tell the difference between them once they were fitted. Where have you seen Corrugated worktops ?

It may refer to the composit of the worktop. Most worktops are chipboard covered with laminate etc. 50mm worktops are corrugated inside with laminate cover etc.
