Milan LED Triple Thermostatic Valve with Square Shower Head + Handset won't turn on if set at hot

Hi, my Milan LED Triple Thermostatic Valve with Square Shower Head will only turn on if it is set on the cold setting but not the hot. It does go hot once its on do you have any advise? It's also fitted with a shower pump but don't know which make or model.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, this sounds like a safety feature with the thermostatic mixer valve not allowing passage of water when set to hot to prevent scalding, but allowing hot water to pass through when mixed. It may be a faulty thermostatic mixer valve if that is not an intended feature. Hope this helps.

The flow rate through your shower pump is not high enough to switch pump on when shower valve is on hot only. If this has always happened you will need either a universal or negative head shower pump fitting to replace your existing pump, if the problem started after some time & had been working before, it's either a partially blocked filter or faulty cartridge in shower
