LVT Tiles In Bathroom, how to Seal?

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.53 PM

Hi everyone, Purchased some LVT for the bathroom and it just occurred to me how to seal around the edges? For in front of the bath mainly for water trickling down the side and not getting underneath the vinyl tiles? I think white caulk would look ugly so I was assuming to use clear silicone? Do I put the silicone on the tile edge and place it up against the bath or just on the top? Any info appreciated, thank you

Depending on gap, you could use ct1 as it is completely clear. "clear" soudal is slightly misty and has better gap hiding qualities, or bal have a range of various micromax colours, you could pick the closest to match your floor. Or use white.

Silicone would work for this, put a bead around the skirting once the flooring is laid.
