No Hot Water or Heating from Conventional Boiler

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.52 PM

My conventional boiler is on with functioning pilot light and I can hear it trying to do something but I don't think it's firing up fully as there’s no hot water and the radiators are not warming up. When it worked, I would hear it fire up and then the noise dies down as it's heating the water and radiators but the noise is constant now. What could be the issue?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Without knowing the make and model of the boiler it's hard to say Possibly the gas valve but without having a look it's very hard to diagnose

Sounds like your boiler could be overheating. Would also need to check the ignition process of the boiler is correct
