Heavy pendant light, weak hollow moulding
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.05 PM
We want to install a (heavy) ceiling pendant light in our living room but there is a hollow plaster moulding decoration that is preventing us from drilling directly into the ceiling to affix the pendant light. The moulding itself is not strong enough to hold the light. What would be the best way to fix this pendant light to our ceiling ? If we took the moulding off to fix the light, could we put it back in place afterwards ? (we are renting...) Thank you!
