Lower the height of conifers

I have a row of 10 conifer trees each side of my garden which have grown above the 6' height.(8') I would like to reduce there height down to enable me to reach to trim.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi there yes conifer trees also called cypress trees are extremley hardy and you reduce them in height without any harm being caused to them, they will soon start growing again but will not be fully developed, dense for a couple of years on top. Hope this helps.
