Where can I get a good deal on quality engineered wood flooring?

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.26 PM

Id like to have engineered wood flooring installed in the downstairs of my house, and am looking for suggestions on the best place to buy flooring from, and what to look for when buying the flooring. There seem to be a lot of options out there. Many thanks.

I recently went to fit a b&q engineered wood click floor and it must have been stored incorrectly as it was warped and impossible to fit together. The customer took it back and bought quick step impressive laminate flooring from elsewhere as it's more hard wearing and doesn't expand as much and cheaper fitting costs too

I believe there is a lot better engineered flooring from other company’s than from b&q it’s a captive audience were they are concerned wouldn’t buy from them

If you have a account with Howdens it is better because they have good prices and quality if you are Howdes trader , if no you can try Selco or B&Q

You can’t beat going to your local independent shop or flooring fitter, Get a tried and tested product / manufacturer and you won’t have problems, There are a lot of very poor product out there so buy carefully and get advice if you want it to perform how it should.
