Nobo electric panel heaters not responding to control unit
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.46 PM
Hi Some of my Nobo electric panel heaters (series 8) don’t respond anymore to the control unit Orion 512. Considering that the system is quite old I was thinking to replace the control unit with Ecohub and the receivers with either NCU2R or NCU2RE receivers. Do I need also a manual control unit in case something goes wrong with the app (And if so which model?) ? And also can the hot water be controlled from Ecohub? Currently Orion 512 control my hot water from an unvented cylinder. Many thanks

You shouldn't need a manual control unit as well, the NCU2R will be needed if you want to control from your phone app as the NCU2RE does not link to your phone.
You might want to check that your heaters will accept the new modules if you contact them they will let you know.
