Radiators not hot downstairs

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.46 PM

Hi. My Radiators are warm upstairs and cold downstairs. I had a plumber came round and put some.mc3 cleaner in the radiators and they worked for a day and became hotter. Now it has gone back to being cold again. I'm not sure what to do. Would anyone recommended a power flush? I have tried balancing the radiators this has not worked. The boiler doesn't seem to be firing up much so could be this. Can any help or tell me what I should do next?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I suggest this needs a power flush, seems to me that there is definately sludge in the system. Either way if youve not done it in a long time it can only do your system good. i do strongly believe your heating should be fine once youve done it. good luck

Michael. If you have a conventional boiler system ... tank etc then it's the pump not working perhaps. Heat rise's. Hope this helps. Bob.
