Missing air bricks to one side of the house
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.45 PM
My new build house is missing so many air bricks. If you drew a line down the middle of my house front to back, they are all missing on one side. There is a garage attached to this side of the house with missing air bricks. The builder will be installing the missing air bricks where possible. However, has not confirmed he will install ones to the wall that the garage is attached to because he sees no point as the air bricks would be venting into the garage. My question is what is the correct way and where should the air bricks go? My main concern is there needs to be adequate ventilation flow across the house and there currently isn’t. Should the air bricks be installed vented into the garage or should there be an extended duct to bring these air bricks to the other side of the garage wall instead? Is there anything I should look out for when they are installing these air bricks. Thank you all in advance.
