Apply Nitromors Paint & Varnish Remover, may have to apply a couple of times and use a scarson scrapper to remove the varnish. Wash down, sand, fill any holes etc then apply a oil of your choice. Good luck and be careful Nitromors can burn, use gloves and googles. Safety comes first as always.

No no do not apply nitro to those windows, you need a product without certain chemicals nitro has in spades, Try "PEELAWAY", go to your locl suppliers not B&Q or those bric or brac shops , a trade paint suppliers you need. If you use Sikkens then you know you need to treat your windows has you have done for the last 20 years anther one wont hurt but will give you 20 more years of pleasure and ducking the wifes demands ! PEELAWAY, and not No 1, once you get it the instructions are well given so good luck sir chris
