Packs of wood flooring

How many pack of wood flooring would I need for a 14 by 15 foot room if there is 1.48 mitres in a pack

14x15ft is 210sq ft 19.5 sqm 14 packs will give 20.7sqm. If that aren’t any awkward cuts then should just do it. Other point is to measure width of room and divide that by width of planks to work out how many full planks will fit in. This is the width of the room where the short edge of the planks run. If you have to start on a half board to get it right on last run then there will be bit more waste. Go with fifteen packs if doing yourself to allow for any accidents or mis cuts etc.

I would buy 15 packs which allows for wastage - floor are is approx 19.5sqm 19.5 / 1.48 = 13.2 packs plus 10% wastage = 14.5 rounded to 15

For 15 by 14 feet rooms comes in square meter 19.51 And one box cover 1.48 sqm Add 10% wastage total floor needed 21.46 square meter So total box you need. 15
