Hi, We have recently started a garage conversion and part will be a utility room. Drainage has been put in by groundwork team. I am now wondering if a water pipe can be attached to the boiler to create the water supply? Thanks

I don’t know why “No” got best answer because you definitely can attach a washing machine to your boilers cold supply!
If your doing it right below your boiler with less than a meter run off don’t just fit the WM valve... tee in, put a none return and then WM valve.

Yes, if its a combi boiler it will have cold water supply and hot water outlet which you can use for your washing machine( hot water only if washing machine has got hot water inlet).

Washing machines now are normally cold fill only. They ought to be connected to the cold water supply.

You can only do that if you have a combi boiler. That way you can tee into the mains feed.
