Can new concrete slabs be laid on top of existing concrete slabs

if the reason your having new slabs is coz the old ones have seen better days then i wouldnt do that because it may beok to start with but it would 9x out of 10 star deteriate very quick it should have mypex laid 1st then a strong base the sand and cement then your slabs .p.s. also knowing the councile they wont have been laid properly any way . dan

No not really you should take up old slabs and prep with 4 iches of stone then use a wacker to compact stone.
