How to level a part concrete, part timber suspended floor?
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 2.49 PM
We have just removed a number of load bearing walls at the back of our house and put in steels. Part of the flooring is concrete, and part is suspended wooden floorboards. It is very uneven. What would you suggest would be the best way to even up the level of the floor?

Depends what purpose it is to serve. If you want i.e tile it, then self leveling compound can do the job.

I'd 6 mil marine ply the timber side and flow a self level screed (stopgap 300) to the ply.
