Paint dust sticking on black gloss kitchen pull out larder door all day after cleaning regularly

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.52 PM

I sprayed a wall in my kitchen with white emulsion a few weeks ago and ever since then I have had a problem with paint dust particle sticking to a black gloss pull out unit door. I have tried every cleaner going to stop it sticking and also tips of the internet eg fabric conditioner ,micro fiber cloths. I have to clean the unit about four times a day because it looks like the door has dandruff. Any advice ? Thanks for the replies so far up to 25thOctober . I have tried them all and none of them have worked unfortunately.

Hi The best thing for this is uPVC cleaner Purchase from Toolstation £3-£4 use a good kitchen towel , put pleanty on the towel wipe over and let dry ,then buff with a dry towel. If you are continuing to spray I would advise yo mask the door .

Try spraying the pull out runner mechanism with wd40,if this mechanism isn't running freely a static charge can build up which will attract any dust particles
