Remove laminate flooring laid underneath fitted wardrobes
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.05 PM
I have moved in to a house which has laminate flooring laid underneath fitted wardrobes. I want to change this to carpet and keep the wardrobes. Is there a way to do this without damaging the wardrobes and without leaving a gap?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

If you can use a multi tool you can cut the section of the flooring out easily.

Hi,
If I was doing this I would cut along the front edge with a multi tool right to the front, I would then source a trim matching the wardrobes to fit at the bottom, then carpet up to the trim.
Hope this helps.

I wouldn’t use a saw, a multi tool is a better option you can then use gripper rods which would bring carpet up to height
