Toilet flush not cleaning bowl

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.05 PM

When I flush the toilet, not all part of the toilet bowl are washed. I have checked the jets, the large jets water comes out fine but for the small jets very little water is coming out causing the bowl not to clear. The toilet pan is relatively new and regularly cleaned so I don’t think the small jets are blocked. Any ideas as to what the problem could be?

I think you don't have enough water going to the bowl. or issue with your flushing mechanism.

I would agree with checking mechanism. But worth deep cleaning the jets with strong descaler and I find an old toothbrush a handy tool.

Sounds like your syphon is going if it's a old school flush handle it will be that or a push button they are simple to replace. And cheap. If it's a close coupled cistern I advise u to buy a new donut washer and bracket"comes as a kit" . Check the water level aswel could be that to

I would check the flush valve inside the cistern. On there you should have the ability to increase the amount of water that fills the cistern. By increasing this it will in crease the water pressure when you flush which should increase the flow enough to push water through the smaller jets.
