Small metal door on my side wall

Hi I have a small 20x20 cm metal door on my side wall. I have no idea what's in there. I don't have a key to open the door. I was thinking it might be a wall insulation door or something to do with cable for TV. Could some please advise. Many thanks

It is most probably a soot door for sweeping a flue from the outside

Its sounds like an old chimney sweep access point. You cam remove if required.
