Hi there,
Without having a look at it, it’s hard to determine the problem it does sound like either the roof membrane has a hole in it or there could be something in the roof that has been dislodged which will cause the drip. This is just my assumptions without seeing it at hand nd what type of roof you have on already.

Just ask from a professional handyman or roofer to have a look,i think is the best you can do.
Best Regards

This could be a fault with the roof covering or flashing or even both it will have to be inspected to determine the fault

Never expect that where the water drips from is the the cause of the leak. Quite simply it could be anywhere above the vertical of the leak and possibly elsewhere. If you've had the leak for a while then you could well have damage to the structure and / or the timber involved. Trying to stop the leak by applying an all weather coating may work short term but it is likely to only be masking what could be a serious problem. If it's a short term fix go ahead, if not get someone who's experienced to carry out a survey. I hope this helps.

You should do a full strip and expose the wood forts of all to make your you don’t have any structural damage first of all and to make sure the roof hasn’t moved in any high winds out people climbing etc. Assume if everything is ok I would leave the roof to dry out then recover with either felt our something to crate the roof waterproof again it’s hard to say without looking.

I think that no decision can be made until the roof has been inspected to look for obvious signs or better still inspect in wet weather.

it could be as other stated damage to the roof coating , its also common on log cabins that water can run in the log locks and down the grooves in the logs , the most common reason for this is the facia boards have rotten and or have a ton of old leafs etc jammed between them and the roof coating , i would contact someone with experience with log cabins
