Groundwork & Foundations Question

sewer pipe

connecting new sewer pipe throught foundations on extension,the old clay sewer pipe is 150mm inside dia,with outside dia of 180mm,can you use a 110mm pvc pipe,all do you have to have the same size pipe as the sewer, due to building regs.

yes you must as this sounds like a communal main,if its just yours then you should be able to reduce down on arrival at new inspection pit,ask your building control officer all areas differ with regards to drainage be it storm or foul,he will tell you what he wants you to do
