How can I tell if mould is caused by damp?
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.39 PM
There is mould on the lower walls next to the back door, but it doesn't make any sense that there would be damp there, and a survey six months ago didn't identify anything. What else could be causing it?

Hi there
generally mould will not form from rising damp but purer water eg,condensation
especially since its near a door letting cold air in to warm so as to condense
on the nearest surface mainly non pourus.
