Hello matty and rachel. Well that is a good question but lacks detail. I guess you may be talking about a "Victorian" style deck bath mixer tap you have acquired and wish to use. If so, I do believe there is a conversion kit but you will need to track it down. If you mean can you use the actual existing pair of taps and make them free standing then I would recommend you don't try it ! But you can buy a set of floor mounted free standing taps that will come with the correct fittings and cover plates and tubes to match the dimensions of the tap as one complete kit. If you are hoping to install them with your existing bath then obviously you would require pipework alterations to suit the new position of the floor mounted taps, but you would have to use blanking covers to seal the existing tap holes in the bath if you're not intending to replace the bath. You may not like the look of blanking covers !

It is possible you would need a set of deck mounted taps ,will not work on gravity system ie. tanks hot water cylinder. Pipework alterations and flooring would need to be considered and to cap of existing tap holes in bath hope this helps
