Dishwasher added to washing machine in kitchen

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.04 PM

To install a dishwasher to a kitchen that already has a washing machine. Would additional pipelines need to be added?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

you may have the pipe work there to support an additional appliance. But 9 times out of 10 you would have to make some minor altercations to the waste and Cold Water supply to add the dishwasher. But because the Washing machine is already there, this wouldn’t be too much work ! I hope this helps

As stated above the alterations would be minor basically for the dishwasher installation it would require the same scenario as the existing washing washing machine, simply a tee from the cold feed and drainage which usually is available on sink traps.
