Just layed a concrete base that has con unlevell can I lay screed on top.

The base is for a shed 12 ft by 20ft . 6 inch below ground and 6inchs above as I layed the wat mix the timber rose up.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

hi tracey,i see you have no experience of groundworks or concreting whatsoever ,i fail to understand why so many people think they can become experienced in this sort of work overnight,if my van needed a new engine i would not attempt to do this myself as i know nothing about mechanics,so i suppose my answer to you is get a qualified person to carry out these works,you are right you could lay a screed mix on top but this is more trickier than wet concrete ,concrete finds its own level near enough ,whereas screed needs to be worked ,again if you go down this road get a qualified screeder/plasterer to carry it out,

Hi, not a problem you got good strong base so Yes put a screed on it minum 50mmm use biddford grit sharp sand dont go to strong 5-1 dry mix, get your levels and go alround the edge say 1 foot then screed of that dont for get to bond base kind regards colin.

yes you can lay a screed over the top between 50cm-75cm pre-mix or hand mix with latex primer in the mix to give it flexibility
