my radiators wont come n after I had it power flushed

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.24 PM

I have tried the acessible radiators and they have water in them and I believe they are on the valves on some are difficult to access. How can I turn a valve on if its off?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, the valves on both sides of the radiator must be on, to go this you must turn them anti clockwise. Also make sure the boiler is actually calling for heat e.g any programmer or room stats are turned on. Hope this helps.

If it’s radiators furthest from your pump normally in airing cupboard that are not working it might be your system needs balancing to push the heat round

There could be a few reasons why the rad is not heating up one your rad valves both need to be open check there is no air in the rad by blessing the radiator. If you find the above have been checked then there could be an air lock the way to introduce this rad to the system would be to turn of a the radiators apart from the one that is not heating up leave the valves fully open then turn the heating on and you should find this rad will get hot after this rad is hot then start to turn the rest of the radiators back on. I hope this has helped you with your problem
