water supply to 1920/30s block of flats

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.24 PM

It appears that a flat in a large development of 1920/30s has only one supply of water. I understand that the water may be coming from a shared tank rather than from the mains Is this likely to be correct

No the flats should be on mains supply as tank fed water is not suitable for drinking purposes

cold water should be mains fed and hot and cold to appliances would be fed from the tank.
