Acoustic plasterboard

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.26 PM

I've had a plasterer out to look at soundproofing a party wall. The noise from next door isn't much. Just a bit of tv noise etc. I want to keep it cheap so he's suggested using sound bloc acoustic plasterboard over the existing wall. Will it do a reasonable job?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi Yes I really think that by applying a soundboard on that wall will do the job if the noise is not much Regards
