Do i need a megaflow system

As part of renovating my home, I am planning to change the whole heating system. I will be doing a kitchen and living room extension, and I am planning to do wet underfloor hearing all downstairs. Currently the house has 3 bed room and a loft room. currently house has only 1 bath room upstairs, and downstairs loo. What type of new boiler would you recommend. I may add a bathroom, toilet to the loft room in 2 years time, so I wanted to know what is the best way to proceed, to keep pressure etc same in loft too later on. My builder says megaflow (boiler & cylinder), so the pressure in bathroom upstairs remains same. Thanks in advance for your comments. Ta G

do you mean boiler or cylinder ?,megaflow cylinders are great if you have enough pressure and volume of water,they will give you mains pressure at all outlets,as for boilers i would have a worcester bosch.

There’s no good answer without assessing the system and house layout. For one bathroom, one toilet room and UFH on ground floor combi boiler would be enough and most space saving option. Megaflo cylinder must be assessed for pressure and flow of mains water. It also involves balanced hot and cold supplies to the bathroom to maintain balanced hw and cw to bath or shower To give most accurate answer I would have to be assessed on site.

Don’t think there is any need for the mega flow cylinder, Good combo boiler with decent hw flow rate will be ample for 1 bathroom and wc room plus save space.

You could go for a viessmann 111 combi boiler which incorporates a cylinder so best of both worlds .fitted 1 in to house with 2 bathrooms a downstairs loo work great
