Electric range cooker between base units

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.03 PM

Hi there, we bought a 100 cm electric range cooker MLN10CRS and now need to calculate the gap space needed between the cooker and a base unit, plus the space needed at the back ( between the wall and the back of the cooker). Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I would suggest that the space between the two base cabinets should be 1012mm giving a space between the range cooker and the base unit either side about 6mm. Usually the range is pushed directly to the back wall and the rear air vent (which is on most range cookers) on back of the appliance will give the necessary space. Having said all of this it is always recommended that you read carefully the specific manufacturers installation catalogue so that you can bevsur. I would also strongly recommend that a qualified Gas Safe or qualified electrician installs the appliance for you.

Please refer to the manufactures instructions. clearances needed will be stated for that particular appliance in there.

Just get the manufacturers technical spec for clearances etc. Easy to do, no point in guessing !
