I have a monobloc tap, which is dripping, on the hot side. I have had the level off and changed the o'ring but no difference, do i need to replace the whole insert which the handle screws onto?

I have noticed on other sites that the whole tap requires replacing???? sounds ridiculous.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, take the tap again and check there isnt a bit of dirt or grit on the steel side of the O ring, other than that, I think you may need a new tap. Regards Paul

Is there a make on the tap? Is it a single lever for double sided. If double sided you and buy new ceramic disc for the mixer. If it is the single lever type then toy will need a new cartridge depending on the make, if make not know then sorry its a new tap. Best Regards Mike
