Primer & Undercoat paint on plaster

I have painted 2 rooms ceilings with screwfix no nonsense primer and undercoat..all the while thinking the plaster needed an "undercoat". Now having educated myself to use a mist coat what steps should i take with the 2 painted ceilings
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

The miss coat is used to 'seal' the plaster as it will absorb it all in the first instance. 50/50 paint/water. If your plaster was completely dry before you painted it and you used a water based paint you MAY have gotten away with it. Monitor the plaster over the next few days to see if it starts to bubble.

Back to screwfix. Buy their 'paint for new plaster' . Read the instructions on the tub, and....well that is it really

No meter on newly plastered walls we use miss coat 60%paint and 40 %water for the walls and ceilings reason been is plastered walls needs to suck all the water to give the best finish after applying 2 full coats of paint on top need to be careful on silk finish high risk of pealing if you don’t do it proper.

I've always used 50/50 as mist coat then 2 topcoats to finish. I would always leave the mist coat overnight to dry fully into the plaster to seal it.
