Kitchen, living room and corridor lights are not working. How easy to fix?

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.23 PM

The circuit breaker hasn't tripped and all other circuits are apparently fine. The lights flickered briefly when I tried them, but wouldn't stay on. Flipping the breaker hasn't done anything. Is this easy to fix?

I would suggest that you employ a registered Electrician. There could be a number of reasons to explain the issues you are reporting.

Possibly you have had some electrical work done recently and there may be a poor connection with in the ceiling outlet or switch or I think could be that a looped live has come loose at a switch.

Hi. if you go to the nearest light that is working. the chance is that the feed to the 1st light that is not working will be the fault

Hi I recommend you find a qualified electrician as it sounds to me you have a wiring fault or loose connection somewhere.

It's most likely a loose cable at a feed junction feeding them rooms. At a switch or fitting. Simple fix.
