Most quiet loft windows

We are extending our loft into a 3rd bedroom so that the kids can have more space on the 2nd floor. We would move our bedroom upstairs to the loft. One thing that is important for us is the noise levels when it rains. We will be getting some velux roof windows but we would like to get something that cancels out the rain noise. We both have a very shallow sleep, so we need something that will cancel the rain noise. What do you recommend?

Replace the unit in the velux with acoustic laminated glass

If you are getting windows then you will need acoustic glass, this glass will help reduce noise. It all so helps to have the windows sat on a bed of foam to reduce vibration as well.
