Lost front door keys to Ingersoll and Chubb locks. Can they be rekeyed or do they need to be replaced?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

It would be better to replace if you lost your keys. Considering the length of time it would take to replace you would be charged a call out fee also.

If it’s a Chubb deadlock it can be rekeyed which works out a lot cheaper than buying a new lock , as for the ingersoll you can just replace the cylinder what again works out cheaper than buying a whole new lock.

Chubb locks can have a new lever pack fitted which is cheaper than a new lock. Ingersol cylinders can be re-keyed but for the labour that it entails you would probably be better replacing the cylinder.
