blocked soil stack
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.03 PM
hi one of our internal dining room walls has water leaking in from what we believe is coming from the toilet, a damp specialist came out to the property and said the soil stack was blocked and water was leaking into the cavity wall from the cast iron piping. a drainage company came out and said they couldn't do anything as out carport was obstructing where he needed to insert the camera but he seems to think the pipe inside the cavity wall has come apart that’s why it’s leaking so I’m assuming part of the pipe needs replacing, could this be replaced if the toilet was removed if we cant access from outside?
