Best way to support corner of garage on a unlevel base?
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.23 PM
I have just had a garage installed but 1 corner of the base is sloped approx 1-2inch so the garage is currently sitting on wooden wedges in that corner, with a gap, I would like to remove the wooden wedges in that corner and support the garage properly, any advise would be great?

Hi,
Either drypack it with a sharp sand cement mix or shutter it and use non shrink grout.
Need any more information please let me know.
Thanks

Make a wooden shutter and pour in grout to frame then put wooden edging to front of building for cosmetic purposes as wooden packer currently used is likely to move and deteriorate

What l would do is shutter one side of gap and mix a strong cement grant and dust mix with PVA semi dry and pack it under gap and smooth it to a Finnish with small trowel
