Install a radiator first or plaster first?
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.23 PM
Radiator required in a porch as old boiler was removed & subsequently now freezing. Is it best to put the radiator in first or plaster then install a radiator?

The best way to approach this would be to firstly make sure the pipe work is in place for the radiator. Then let the plasters skim the wall so that there are less objects for them to go around. This will ensure a much nice finish for the plastering. You will then be able to fit the radiators. It might also be a good idea the paint the area behind the radiator before you fit and plumb it in.
Hope this helps.

Hi Chris.
My advice would be to carry out the plastering first before having your new radiator installed.
