Can you have a freestanding bath if your drainage/pipework can't go underneath the floor?

Hi, I live in a third floor flat with concrete floors and I'd like a freestanding bath but I'm not sure how it would drain if the pipework can't go down underneath the floor? Can you have the pipework running along the side of the walls to the main waste stack and either have it as a feature or perhaps box it in? As my kitchen is behind the wall which would have the freestanding bath, I'm also wondering if the pipework could go through the wall into the kitchen and be concealed by kitchen cupboards, and then drain where the kitchen sink water goes? Also if I could have wall mounted bath taps and have the water supply for the bath coming from the kitchen (again with the pipework for this hidden by kitchen cupboards)?
