Best electric drill and screwdriver tool for household jobs?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.44 PM

I want to get a good quality battery powered too for small jobs around the home and who better to ask that a tradesman? It must be good for drilling holes and also screwing things in. The most popular brands in B&Q seem to be Bosch, Ryobi, Mac Allister, DeWalt, Milwaukee and Makita. I don't mind too much about the price as long as it's under £100.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Under a £100 you might be struggling to get a quality one tbh.

Look for a 18v tool. I have used erbauer and found them to be a good tool. Always look at the drill speed and torque. The higher the better. £100 should be a reasonable budget.

You can’t go too far wrong with De-walt or Makita, keep an eye on Screwfix they often have deals on them.

What kind of budget do you have and for what use? Money no object get Milwaukee Light home use on a budget Bosch will do you well Middle of the road with cost and use I would go makita or erbauer Look for brushless, li ion battery for long lasting, quick charging longevity
