Can a new sink hole be cut into a granite composite workshop in situ?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.44 PM

We want to change our kitchen sink to a larger one with a rinse sink. We'le liek the hole cut in situ without removing the existing worktop. Is this possible? If so does it make a horrendous amount of mess?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Yes this can be done if you use the correct tool. Not very messy as water is used to cool the hole cutter.

Yes this can be done, again with the correct tools, if it is a composite top you can use dust extraction to minimise the mess

Yes it is possible. There would be some mess be use of extraction and masking will minimise it.
