Masking Tape stuck to glass

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.25 PM

My husband tried to paint the timber windows in our spare room and he used masking tape on the glass panels - once he finished he found the tape is firmly stuck to the glass! It's taking ages to get it off; any tips or advice on how to remove it quickly and more easily?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

You need a window scrapper with a sharp blade and a cloth, you can use white spirit or even glass cleaner which I prefer, it should come straight off with not a lot of effort.
